Just as a practice effort, for my first post I thought I would start by sharing some pictures of a recent dinner party we had with our friends, the Garners. We don't really have dinners like this all that often. But, every once in a while I like to have a little fun...and the pictures came out really nice.
First: Aborio rice-crusted oysters with spinach and pomegranate glaze
Second: Wild mushroom raviolis with crispy shallots and port reduction
Main: Pan seared red snapper with udon noodle cake, bok choy, and coconut broth
Dessert: Madeira marinated peaches with vanilla mascarpone
